About Us
The company was created by Husband & Wife, Sean & Ruth Burchill in April 1991, after Sean, who had previously worked within the Bristol Fruit Market as a salesman, decided to take the next step and create a shop of his own.
We have recently relocated our business to the Wholesale fruit market in Bristol, where we will carry on supplying our customers with the freshest, best value produce, via our website.
We pride ourselves on our customer service, and the ability to change and adapt with the times, increasing our product ranges and online shopping experiences when required.
Our biggest selling point is the quality of our produce, which is sourced daily from the Bristol fruit market, ensuring the freshest and highest quality can be passed on to our customers!
Sean
Owner & Buyer
Sean has been in the industry since he was 18 And has been buying everything for the shop since 1991! He gets up at 1AM six days a week to buy the freshest produce for you to purchase.
Ruth
Owner & Order Picker
Ruth has been responsible for most of the ‘behind the scenes’ jobs since we started in 1991 and is now responsible for making the online boxes during the week.
Debbie
Manager
Debbie has been with the company since 1996 and has been the Manager since 2017. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, and looking after the staff, customers and their needs.
Neil
Supervisor & Shop worker
Neil has been with the company since 2000, after being our Egg supplier for a few years before. He is the ‘in store entertainment’ and enjoys the banter with the customers on a daily basis! If he didn’t work here, he could possibly be a ‘Rick Astley’ tribute artist!!!!
Craig
Transport Manager & Driver
Craig is the Son of Sean & Ruth and has been with us since 2018 after returning from his travels in Australia. Craig is in charge of organising the delivery routes each day, and dealing with any special requests. He also helps his Dad at the market when required.
