This two-step recipe is a great and simple way of using up leftover fruit from your fridge!
Method
- In a food processor or blender place all your chopped frozen fruit, lemon juice and honey and blitz. Slowly add the milk until you have a nice smooth, thick consistency. You may need to scrape down the sides of your blender a few times in between blitzing to make sure all the lumps are gone.
- Spoon your smoothie mixture in a bowl. Top with goji berries, chia seeds, nuts, fruit or any toppings you fancy – coconut flakes are a great addition too, and serve!
Chop up your fruit and pop it in the freezer the night before. This will make your smoothie bowl lovely and thick.
